Raised Eyebrows
Enclosed please find a series of photographs of my left eyebrow. The photographs were taken daily during the period 1 June 1951 (my twenty-seventh birthday) to 30 June 2001. They document the growth and development of the eyebrow.

Not a Shirker
Dr. Herbert Inman wishes me to respond to Lynda Parski's letter
which complained that doctors feel they are so important that they cannot
make phone calls for themselves.
Dr. Inman is appalled that so many doctors and other scientists have such
an inflated sense of self-importance. Dr. Inman wishes me to make it clear
that any doctor or other scientist worth his salt should take the time
to make his own phone calls. Dr. Inman wishes me to inform you that HE
makes HIS own phone calls.
Incisive Desires
My hobby is noninvasive surgical procedures. I urge you to print more articles on this fascinating subject.
Suspicious Patterns
I
am writing in reference to the report by Greta Munch ("The Mating
Habits of the Rust Spotted Mid-Pacific Tyrolean Egret")
in which she describes how she suspended herself from a kite for twelve
days in order to observe the behavior of birds which are notoriously averse
to contact with human beings.
Unfortunately, Professor Munch's data is worthless. The presence of the
kite must surely have altered the light patterns impinging on the birds'
nest. My dissertation, "The Unbearable Effects of Certain Light Patterns
on the Reproductive Frenzy of the Rust Spotted Mid-Pacific Tyrolean Egret" (unpublished)
demonstrates this admirably.
I have repeatedly mailed copies of my dissertation to Professor Munch,
but have received no response. Perhaps she will pay attention to me if
you tell her to.
