SOLUTION TO LAST MONTH'S PUZZLER
Hermione's journey worked out as follows:
| Step A | "Return to the days of yesteryear": Subtract 22 years per generation times 2 generations. |
| Step B | "Return to a time when we were young": Subtract the Difference between Hermione's current age and her age when she entered school with Rogelio. |
| Step C | "Return to a land that time forgot": Cross the border and leave Switzerland. |
| Step D | "Return to where it all started": Carry out Step A a second time; subtract another 22 years per generation times 3 generations. |
| Step E | "Return to your roots": Take the square root, then the cube roots. |
| Step F | "Return the answer:" You were asked to write down the three final values (Hermione's adjusted age, her longitude and her latitude) on a sheet of 9" x 17" green paper and mail it in. |
