Okamura and the Minicreatures issue

On the cover: The front cover of this issue of AIR shows Chonosuke Okamura. The accompanying photomicrographfirst appeared on page 527 of the Original Report of the Okamura Fossil Laboratory, where it was described thusly: "In the picture a [sic] apparently is an old man... It is evident from the picture that the skin of the aged has become rough because of loosing elasticity wich [sic] that of the youth is smooth and lively... The old man has his mouth shut tight on the stretch. showing his character as a result of a long-year's mental activity since his younger."
The features marked with a star (*) are based entirely on material taken straight from standard research (and other Official and Therefore Always Correct) literature. Many of the other articles are genuine, too, but we don't know which ones.
