Solution to Last Issue's Puzzler
No. After slicing Igor’s head off
and watching it roll down the street
and over the cliff’s edge, Dr. Aubergine
had a simple substitute -- Queen Rigamortis’s
severed head, described in footnote 12 of chapter 3 -- on hand.
There was nothing in the rules
to prevent Dr. Aubergine from
severing the substitute head from
the hand to which it was attached,
and so he sewed
it onto Igor’s headless torso.
Thus Dr. Aubergine won the Blue Ribbon
and the accompanying fruit basket.
