Annals of Improbable Research (also known as AIR) is the magazine about research that makes people LAUGH and then THINK. Six new issues every year. We now publish each issue as an e-book, and also on paper:
- E-book — Comfy to read on big devices (computers) and tiny ones (phones), too.
- Genuine Paper — Lovingly printed and snail-mailed. If you love paper, subscribe to the paper version.
E-book details: This is the first picture-filled magazine available as a series of standard e-books, comfy on both tiny (phone) and big screens:
- To make this possible, we invented a simple way to make magazines comfy to read — on both tiny and big screens — on today's standard e-book readers. Each e-book contains two copies — one formatted for tiny screens, one formatted identically to the glorious paper version.
- Other publishers, too, can use our simple invention to make their picture-filled magazines, books, etc., available as ordinary, read-'em-on-any-size-screen e-books.
